Reverse description Central field displays a bold multi-line Persian Nastaliq legend invoking the name of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza, enclosed within a beaded inner border. A small imperial Qajar crown motif appears at the top of the inscription area. The legend is framed by two elegant symmetrical branches of laurel and oak, tied at the base with a ribbon, and the Hijri date 1295 is inscribed at the lower portion of the field beneath the wreath. The whole design is enclosed within a finely dentilated outer border consistent with the milled technique of the Tehran mint.
