Obverse description Printed in blue on cream paper, the note is framed by a double-ruled border with floral corner ornaments. Four circular rosette medallions at each corner carry the Azerbaijani denomination inscription in cursive script, while a perforated numeral '2' appears at upper centre. A central cartouche in an ogival Islamic geometric frame bears the issuing authority's name in calligraphic Nastaliq script, flanked by intricate guilloche arabesque panels. Two manuscript signatures appear below the cartouche, captioned with their respective titles, and a circular hand-stamp is applied to the left; a handwritten serial number in brown ink occupies the right margin.

Below, three numbered articles of text are written in bold Nastaliq calligraphy in black ink, arranged in three widely-spaced lines and setting out the legal terms of the treasury bond, including the government guarantee, its acceptance in trade, and the death penalty prescribed for counterfeiters.
