| Beschrijving keerzijde | The elaborate quartered coat of arms of the Duchy of Saxe-Meiningen, richly detailed and mantled with ermine-lined ducal robes draped to either side, occupies the central field. The shield is surmounted by multiple crested helms bearing the dynastic heraldic devices. A circular legend surrounding the design reads 3 1/2 GULDEN VII EINE F. MARK 2 THALER to the upper portion and VEREINS MÜNZE with the date 1846 at the lower portion, all enclosed within a beaded border. |
