A collar of medallions encircles the shield as an order chain. The circumferential legend reads 2 THALER VII EINE F. MARK 3½ GULDEN flanked by six-pointed ornamental stars, with VEREINS 1840 MÜNZE across the lower arc, the date split around the base of the shield. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
