Descrizione del dritto	The Ecuadorian national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a condor with spread wings perched atop an oval shield that features Mount Chimborazo, a steamship on a river, and a radiant sun above. The shield is flanked by four national flags and laurel and palm branches, with fasces and a cornucopia crossed below. The circular legend 'REPUBLICA DEL ECUADOR' arcs along the upper periphery, while the date '1973' appears in the lower exergue. A beaded border frames the entire design.
