Reverse description Central design features an ornate floriated long cross with trefoil or fleur-de-lis terminals at each arm, the cross extending nearly to the inner beaded circle. Four decorative lis-like motifs occupy the angles between the arms of the cross, and a small central lozenge or pellet rosette is positioned at the crossing. The surrounding legend in Gothic uncial lettering carries the devotional inscription beginning SIT NOMEN DOMINI BENEDICTVM, separated by annulet stops, running around the full circumference within a beaded border.
