| Beschrijving voorzijde | The heraldic shield of the House of Oldenburg occupies the central field, displaying the characteristic barry of nine argent and gules associated with the dynasty. The escutcheon is surmounted by a royal crown rendered in low relief. The piece exhibits the characteristic crudely cut lozenge-shaped flan typical of siege klippings, with the design struck off-centre on the irregular planchet.
