| Reverse description | The denomination inscribed in full across four lines in the center of the coin, reading II SKILLING DANSK, all within a pearled inner circle. Surrounding the central inscription, the royal title legend in Latin runs along the rim, identifying the king as ruler of Norway, the Wends, and the Goths, followed by the date of issue. A trefoil mintmark appears after the date, identifying the Copenhagen mint. The layout is characteristic of the small billon coinage of Christian IV's reign. |
