The mint mark initials 'KG' appear at the base of the shield. The bilingual legend SOUTH·AFRICA·SUID·AFRIKA arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination ·2 SHILLINGS· curves along the lower periphery. The date, split on either side of the shield, flanks the arms, and the entire design is enclosed within a continuous beaded border. |
