| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features an ornate square panel subdivided into six compartments, each bearing a component of the royal name and title of King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev in Devanagari script. A small trident symbol (trishul) appears at the centre of the panel. The legend 'श्री श्री' arcs along the upper portion of the field, flanked by decorative sun motifs. The Bikram Samvat year '२०५७' (2057 VS) is displayed in the lower arc. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border, with stylised bow-and-arrow motifs at the cardinal points. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central device depicts a detailed frontal view of the Janaki Mandir (Janki Temple) of Janakpur, a multi-domed Hindu temple rendered in fine architectural detail with arched windows and a wide facade. The temple name 'जानकी मन्दिर' curves along the upper legend in Devanagari script, with 'नेपाल' to the lower left and 'रूपैयाँ' to the lower right, also in Devanagari. The numeral '२' (2) appears prominently in the lower field below the temple. The design is surrounded by a beaded border consistent with the obverse. |
