Reverse description Central device depicts a detailed frontal view of the Janaki Mandir (Janki Temple) of Janakpur, a multi-domed Hindu temple rendered in fine architectural detail with arched windows and a wide facade. The temple name 'जानकी मन्दिर' curves along the upper legend in Devanagari script, with 'नेपाल' to the lower left and 'रूपैयाँ' to the lower right, also in Devanagari. The numeral '२' (2) appears prominently in the lower field below the temple. The design is surrounded by a beaded border consistent with the obverse.
