In the background, stylised geometric forms suggestive of a grand piano lid are incused into the field, accompanied by decorative musical staves and notes sweeping across the lower left and upper right portions of the design. To the left of the portrait, the birth and death years 1891 and 1953 are inscribed in two lines, while the name С.С. ПРОКОФЬЕВ appears in bold Cyrillic letters along the lower border. |
