| Obverse description | Against a mirror-polished field, the relief arms of the Russian Federation are centrally placed, surmounted by a semicircular legend along the upper rim reading РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ. The legend is framed on both sides by paired rhombuses. Below the coat of arms, to the left, appear the alloy designation and fineness (Ag 925), and to the right the fine metal content and the Moscow Mint monogram (ММД). Across the lower centre, in three lines, the inscription БАНК РОССИИ, the denomination 2 РУБЛЯ, and the date 2016 г. are inscribed. |
