Opis awersu	Central field features the denomination rendered in large Arabic numeral '٢' above the Arabic legend 'ريالات' and the Western numeral '2' below, with 'RIALS' inscribed beneath, all enclosed within a raised circular border. The Arabic legend 'حكومة رأس الخيمة' curves along the upper periphery, flanked by five-pointed stars at either side, while the Latin legend 'GOVERNMENT OF RAS AL KHAIMA' arcs along the lower periphery. The design is framed by a fine dentilated border running along the rim.

Opis rewersu	Two crossed flags of Ras al-Khaimah are displayed prominently in the central field, their staffs crossing at the center and surmounted by the emirate's emblem depicting a janbiya dagger over a traditional dhow. The dual date, rendered in Arabic-Indic numerals '١٩٦٩' and Hijri '١٣٨٩', appears in the lower central field beneath the crossed flags. The entire central design is enclosed within an elaborate decorative border of stylized floral and arabesque scrollwork, itself framed by a dentilated outer rim.
