| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate and draped bust of Ferdinand VII facing right, with a tied queue visible at the nape, occupying the central field. The peripheral legend in Latin reads FERDN·VII·DEI·GRATIA, interrupted at the base by the date 1814, all within a finely milled border. The portrait, executed in the neoclassical style characteristic of the Catalonian traveling mint, shows the king in military drape with the laurel wreath rendered in considerable detail despite the modest module of the coin. |
