| Obverse description | At center, the national emblem of Saudi Arabia comprising a date palm above two crossed scimitars, rendered in fine detail. A continuous Arabic legend arcs above the emblem, reading the name and title of King Faisal bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud. A second Arabic legend curves below the emblem, inscribing the full title 'King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.'
