Obverse description The Saudi Arabian national emblem occupies the center of the field, depicting a date palm above two crossed swords, all rendered in fine relief. A continuous Arabic legend encircles the emblem, running along the upper and lower periphery of the coin. The inscription identifies the ruler and his titles in the calligraphic Thuluth script typical of Saudi coinage of this period.

Reverse description The reverse presents the denomination within a central circular cartouche, bearing the Arabic inscription for 'Two Qirsh' in stylized calligraphy. Flanking the cartouche to the left and right are the numeral '10' in Western Arabic and Eastern Arabic (١٠) scripts respectively. The Arabic legend for 'Ten Halalas' curves along the upper field, while the Hijri date (١٤٠٨) is prominently displayed in the lower field.
