| Beschrijving voorzijde | Frontal bust of a deity or royal figure depicted in traditional South Indian iconographic style, shown seated or enthroned with arms outstretched. The figure wears an elaborate tiered crown or kireetam surmounted by a flame finial, a prominent beaded necklace, and ornate garments. Flanking inscriptions in Malayalam script appear to the left and right of the central device. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border characteristic of Cochin hammered coinage. |
