Part of the Royal Mint's broader programme of literary commemoratives issued through British Crown Dependencies, this piece marks the 170th anniversary of Dickens's serialised novel — though Great Expectations first appeared in All the Year Round in weekly instalments from December 1860, making 2020 a slightly loose anniversary peg.
