| Obverse description | An outer pearl border follows the octagonal coin shape, enclosing a circular inner pearl border within which the large numeral '2' appears prominently in the center field. The issuer's name 'C. BEHRENS' arcs along the upper portion of the legend between the two borders, while 'ALFELD' reads along the lower arc, with small star stops separating the inscriptions.
