备注

Andorra's first paper currency was issued in 1936 by the Consell General — the country's parliamentary body — making this one of the few instances of a medieval co-principality (jointly governed by the Bishop of Urgell and the President of France) producing emergency paper notes. The timing was driven by the disruption to coin supply caused by the Spanish Civil War raging across the border.

The series is among the rarest in all Pyrenean numismatics. Print runs were extremely small, circulation was local and brief, and survival rates are poor — most examples that exist today show heavy wear from daily use in a cash-scarce economy with few alternatives.
