| Beschrijving keerzijde | Printed in rose-pink and mauve tones, the reverse is dominated by elaborate guilloche lacework with three large circular medallions containing stylised numeral '2' devices in white relief against the lathe-work ground. The 'BANCO NACIONAL' legend arcs across the upper portion of the central medallion, and denomination numerals '2' appear in diamond cartouches at the upper corners. A rectangular cancel stamp in dark ink, reading 'MEXICO / MEDIO CENTAVO / BANCO NACIONAL', has been applied at upper left. The overall design relies entirely on intricate geometric engine-turned patterns with no pictorial vignette. |
