| Obverse description | At left, a large allegorical vignette in intaglio shows two putti, one of which points skyward, rendered in finely engraved cross-hatching against a light guilloche underprint. At right, a portrait medallion contains a uniformed military figure in classical style. The centre carries the bank name EL BANCO PROVINCIAL DE CÓRDOBA in bold letterpress, with the denomination DOS PESOS inscribed in an ornate cartouche below. The header reads REPUBLICA ARGENTINA, and the serial number and série designation appear in the upper register. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in a sepia-brown intaglio scheme and carries a wide allegorical composition across the full width of the note. At centre, a standing classical figure of Mercury, identifiable by his caduceus and winged helmet, exchanges goods with a seated female allegory of Abundance accompanied by a globe; a group of putti with grape clusters and harvest attributes occupies the left arch, while a second group with a sailing vessel appears in the right arch. The Argentine national arms are engraved at the top centre, and denomination numerals 2 appear in plain circles at both outer corners. |
