| Beschrijving voorzijde | Letterpress-printed in brown on cream card stock, the note is framed by a continuous ornamental border with geometric and floral corner elements. The issuing authority 'CONSELL MUNICIPAL DE PORRERA' runs in spaced capitals across the upper portion, below which the denomination 'Val DUES Ptes.' appears in large bold type; a three-line Catalan text confirms the guarantee of the Caixa del Consell with the date 28 de Maig del 1937, and a mandatory circulation clause runs along the lower margin. |

| Opmerkingen |
Porrera is a small wine-producing village in the Priorat comarca of Tarragona, with a population that barely reached 1,000 during the 1930s. Like dozens of Catalan municipalities, it issued its own emergency paper money during the Civil War after the Republic's central authorities failed to maintain an adequate supply of small-denomination coinage — silver and copper had been hoarded, melted, or simply vanished from circulation by mid-1936.
The Turró catalogue remains the definitive reference for these Catalan municipal emissions, and Porrera's issues are among the more obscure village entries, reflecting genuinely limited print runs serving an extremely local economy.
