| 裏面の説明 | Large numeral '2' dominates the central field, flanked on either side by symmetrical decorative sprays of cotton bolls and leaves in low relief, symbolising Pakistan's agricultural heritage. Above the numeral, the denomination 'دو پیسہ' (Do Paisa) is inscribed in Urdu (Nastaliq) script, while below the numeral the Bengali denomination '২ পয়সা' appears in Bengali script. The overall composition is well-centred within the scalloped border. |

Pakistan's small bronze paisa denominations from this period were issued under the decimal system introduced in 1961, when the country converted from annas and pice. The 2 paisa filled a genuine transactional gap in daily commerce, though rampant inflation through the late 1960s steadily eroded its purchasing power. By the end of this series' run, the denomination was already economically marginal.
Bronze composition was abandoned for aluminum in subsequent issues — a cost-driven decision reflecting both rising metal prices and the coin's diminishing utility.
