Descrizione del dritto	Central field features the Pakistani state emblem comprising a crescent moon and five-pointed star above an elaborate tughra (calligraphic royal cipher) in Arabic script. The tughra occupies the lower centre of the coin in ornate relief. The date in Western Arabic numerals appears at the bottom of the field below the tughra. A circular legend in Bengali script reading 'পাকিস্তান সরকার' (Government of Pakistan) runs along the inner periphery of the scalloped border.

The 2 paisa filled a genuine transactional gap in daily commerce, though rampant inflation through the late 1960s steadily eroded its purchasing power. By the end of this series' run, the denomination was already economically marginal. Bronze composition was abandoned for aluminum in subsequent issues — a cost-driven decision reflecting both rising metal prices and the coin's diminishing utility.
