Reverse description At center, within a hexagonal border, appears a relief depiction of the Chaac-Mool, a pre-Columbian recumbent figure of Mayan origin traditionally used as a sacrificial altar upon whose chest or abdomen offerings were placed for conveyance to the gods. The date 1994, the Mexico City mint mark Mo, and the inscription CHAAC-MOOL encircle the hexagon. The denomination N$2 appears in the field below the hexagonal border, outside it.
