| Reverse description | The reverse is dominated by a large stylised '2000' motif spanning the full width of the field, with the two zeros rendered as elegantly interlocked infinity-like curves bridging a matte left panel and a mirror-polished right panel. To the left, a graceful dove in flight is rendered in low relief within the matte section, symbolising peace. Above the '2000' device, the bilingual legend 'שנת YEAR' appears, while above that, the Hebrew biblical verse 'וכתתו חרבותם לאתים' is inscribed in three lines in the matte field. Below the central motif, the English translation 'AND THEY SHALL BEAT THEIR SWORDS INTO PLOWSHARES' (Isaiah 2:4) is incused in bold capitals across the lower mirror field. |

Issued to mark the turn of the millennium, this coin was produced by the Bank of Israel during a period when commemorative silver issues had become a significant revenue stream for the mint — a deliberate policy shift in the 1990s toward collector-market production. The KM#329 designation places it within a well-documented run of Israeli commemoratives from that decade, many struck at the Israel Coins and Medals Corporation facility in Jerusalem.
