The country name 'ISRAEL' appears at the top of the peripheral legend in Latin script, flanked by the Hebrew 'ישראל' to the right and the Arabic 'إسرائيل' to the left, all separated by dots. Along the lower periphery, the denomination legend reads 'NEW SHEKELS' in Latin and 'شيكلان جديدان' in Arabic, while the Hebrew year in Jewish calendar notation appears on the right side of the border. A dotted inner border frames the entire reverse field.
