Reverse description The reverse features two Chinese characters positioned above and below the central square perforation. The mint mark 守 (Su), denoting the Seoul Defense Fort (守御廳, Sueo-cheong), appears in the upper field, while the serial or denomination indicator 二 (2) occupies the lower field. The characters are cast in relief in regular script against a plain flat field, enclosed by a raised outer rim. The sparse design is typical of Joseon cash coinage, with the mint and issue identifiers serving as the sole decorative and informational elements.
