| Opis rewersu | Central device displays a bold cross pattée with a shield superimposed at its centre, the arms of the shield divided by a horizontal bar, consistent with the heraldic device associated with the lordship of Gerdingen. The cross fills the inner field and is contained within a beaded inner circle. A circumferential legend in uncial Gothic lettering runs between the inner and outer borders, proclaiming the coin as new money struck at Leuven. The flan exhibits the same irregular, clipped character as the obverse, typical of this issue. |
