Obverse description Central field depicts a standing figure, likely a heraldic lion or armed figure in low relief, rendered in the crude Gothic style typical of mid-15th-century Brabantine feudal coinage. The design is enclosed within a plain inner circle, beyond which runs a peripheral legend in uncial Gothic characters. The flan is irregular and slightly clipped, with uneven strike characteristic of hand-hammered copper issues. The overall composition follows the conventional format of Leuven-struck petty coinage of the period.
