| 背面描述 | Central device consists of a short-footed cross with the initial letter A placed at its center, all enclosed within a curved double border typical of late medieval Netherlandish mites. The arms of the cross extend toward but do not reach the inner border, giving it a compact, footed appearance. A circular legend in uncial Latin characters runs along the periphery, separated from the central cross by a plain ring. The design is characteristic of the anonymous-style reverse types employed on feudal mites of the lower Meuse lordships in the late fifteenth century. |

Adrian of Gaveren acquired the lordship of Elsloo through inheritance in the mid-fifteenth century, and his copper mite issues reflect the fragmented monetary landscape of the lower Meuse valley, where petty lordships retained the right to strike small denomination coinage well into the Habsburg consolidation of the Netherlands. Elsloo's output was modest by any measure, and survivors in any condition are genuinely scarce.
