Reverse description The reverse displays a centrally positioned olive branch sprig rising from the lower field, rendered in fine naturalistic detail with paired lanceolate leaves and small berry clusters, a symbol of the land of Palestine. Flanking the base of the sprig are the numeral '2' to the left and its Eastern Arabic-Indic equivalent '٢' to the right. Surrounding the central device in a circular legend are the denomination inscriptions in three scripts: the Hebrew 'מילס' to the left, the Latin 'TWO MILS' across the top, and the Arabic 'ملان' to the right, each separated by raised dots. A beaded inner border frames the entire composition.
