| Description du revers | The central panel carries a detailed landscape vignette of Burg- und Stadt-Tost, with the castle silhouetted against a clouded sky above a wooded foreground rendered in fine black linework on a blue and white ground; the inscription 'Eichendorffs Vaterhaus' appears within the arch above the scene. Allegorical figures in Art Nouveau style occupy the left and right border panels — a robed female figure entwined with a bare tree on the left, and a mother-and-child group on the right — both attributed to the designer Klippert whose signature appears at lower right of the central vignette.
