Beschrijving voorzijde	Central device comprising a large crowned quartered shield bearing the arms of Sweden, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The four quarters display the three crowns of Sweden and the lion of the Folkung dynasty in alternating arrangement, surmounted by an ornate royal crown with visible arches and finials. A continuous Latin legend surrounds the shield between the beaded and outer raised rims, reading clockwise from the top.

Beschrijving keerzijde	Central device consisting of an ornate cartouche or shield bearing a plain cross, the arms of the city of Reval, set within a beaded inner circle with decorative scrollwork flanking the shield. The date, rendered in the abbreviated form with the first two digits omitted (6Z for 1562), appears within or immediately adjacent to the legend. A continuous Latin legend encircles the central device between the beaded and outer rims, identifying the coin as a new coinage of Reval.
