| Obverse description | Printed entirely in red letterpress on light paper, the face carries a dense overall guilloche underprint in the same colour. The issuing authority's name arches across the top, flanked by ornamental side panels enclosing the denomination numeral "2"; the issuance text with date "12. August 1914" is centred below, with the red circular seal of the Reichsschuldenverwaltung at lower right accompanied by an embossed dry seal of the same authority. A statutory anti-counterfeiting warning runs in small type across the lower margin. |
