| Obverse description | Printed in red-brown on cream paper, the obverse is arranged in a tripartite layout with two vertical side panels bearing foliate guilloche ornament enclosing circular cartouches with the denomination numeral '2' over 'MARK', flanking a central circular vignette of a pastoral Dithmarschen landscape with grazing cattle and a distant church steeple and windmill silhouetted on the horizon. At the top, a rectangular panel carries the serial number in large bold Gothic type preceded by 'Gutschein Nr.' A text panel at the foot contains the redemption clause in Fraktur script, followed by a manuscript signature and the title 'Bürgermeister'. |
