The circular Latin legend reads D·G·DUX·BRUNSVIC·ET·LUNEBURG, running along the periphery. Mint initials F·P·H appear at the base of the design, flanking the cypher. The overall style is characteristic of early eighteenth-century German milled silver coinage. |
