To the left, a large ornate numeral "2" guilloche cartouche dominates the field. The bank title "BANCO CENTRAL DE HONDURAS" runs along the top, the word "LEMPIRAS" appears at the bottom left, and a descriptive caption below the vignette reads "ISLA DEL TIGRE Y CIUDAD PUERTO DE AMAPALA / EN DONDE INAUGURÓ SU GOBIERNO EL DR.
