| Obverse description | The obverse carries a central vignette of the National Parliament Building set against a guilloche underprint in green tones, flanked by the National Coat of Arms and a Bird of Paradise motif rendered in fine intaglio line work. Commemorative inscriptions marking the 35th anniversary of the Bank of Papua New Guinea (1973–2008) appear across the upper portion of the note. The legal tender clause is printed along the lower margin. |
