Beschrijving voorzijde Executed in black letterpress with a red overprint stamp, the obverse is divided into three registers: the upper field carries a full-length vignette of Jurōjin, one of the Seven Lucky Gods, shown in three-quarter standing pose with a staff in his left hand and a rigid fan in his right, a deer at his side, surrounded by auspicious objects including Fundō weights, a Cintāmaṇi jewel, and an Uchide-no-kozuchi mallet. The central field contains multiple text cartouches bearing the denomination and exchange inscriptions, overlaid diagonally by a vertical seal-script overprint stamp. The lower register presents a frontal turtle bearing a Cintāmaṇi on a wave-pattern ground.
