A braided rope border frames the entire design. |

The heading 'GUTSCHEIN' appears in large Gothic script above 'der Gemeinde NAARN' in bold display lettering, followed by a block of German text stating the issue conditions, the redemption date of 31 December 1920, and the place and date of issue. A faint watermark-like underprint of an eagle or decorative motif is visible in the centre field. The printed signature of the Bürgermeister and the note's total print run are stated at foot. |
