正面描述 Left-facing draped bust of Queen Anne, her hair elaborately dressed and adorned with a ribbon tied at the back, with loose curling locks falling to the shoulder. The effigy, engraved by John Croker, is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the drapery fastened at the breast with a bow. The Latin legend ANNA·DEI·GRATIA· ('Anne by the Grace of God') runs around the periphery, interrupted by the truncation of the bust at lower left. The inner border is formed by a beaded rim characteristic of early eighteenth-century milled English gold coinage.

(Translation: Anne by the Grace of God)
背面描述 Four cruciform crowned shields bearing the arms of England, Scotland, France, and Ireland, arranged in a cross pattern around a central Garter star, with sceptres bearing the national emblems of the rose, thistle, fleur-de-lis, and harp displayed in the angles between the shields. The date is divided by the uppermost shield, with the first two digits to the left and the last two to the right. The encircling Latin legend MAG·BRI·FR·ET·HIB·REG· ('Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland') runs around the periphery, the whole enclosed within a milled beaded border.
