| Opis rewersu | A long bold cross pattee divides the reverse field into four quadrants, each containing a Gothic trefoil or floral ornament set within a curved arc, forming a typical thuyne-type composition used on Low Countries groot denominations of the early fifteenth century. The inner design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, beyond which a partially preserved uncial Gothic legend in Latin references the lordship of Anholt. The cross arms extend fully to the inner circle, with small decorative elements at the terminals. The flan shows irregular edges and slight metal flow consistent with hand-hammered production. |
