| Descrizione del rovescio | A long cross pattee extends to the legend, dividing the reverse into four quadrants. At the centre, a small quadrilobe is superimposed over the intersection of the cross, with trefoil ornaments occupying each of the four angles of the quadrilobe. The legend is interrupted by the arms of the cross, a design convention common to Hainaut gros coinage of this period. The overall composition is typical of the cross-type reverse found on Low Countries silver denominations of the early fifteenth century. |
