Opis awersu	Central portrait vignette of Emperor Jacques I (Jean-Jacques Dessalines, 1758–1806) in military uniform, flanked on either side by the National Coat of Arms of Haiti. An intricate guilloche underprint frames the overall design, with denomination and statutory text laid out in letterpress across the face.

Opis rewersu	Printed entirely in red, the reverse presents a central intaglio vignette of a mining scene with workers operating equipment in an open landscape, enclosed within an ornate guilloche border. Large numeral 2 counters are positioned at left and right flanking the central panel, with the title RÉPUBLIQUE D'HAÏTI running across the top. A statutory anti-counterfeiting legend in small letterpress appears below the vignette.
