Beschrijving voorzijde	Central portrait vignette of Emperor Jacques I (Jean-Jacques Dessalines, 1758–1806) in military uniform, flanked on either side by the National Coat of Arms of Haiti. An intricate guilloche underprint frames the overall design, with denomination and statutory text laid out in letterpress across the face.
Opschrift voorzijde	LIBERTÉ ÉGALITÉ FRATERNITÉ RÉPUBLIQUE D'HAÏTI CE BILLET ÉMIS PAR L'ETAT D'HAÏTI, EN VERTU DE LA LOI DU 22 DÉCEMBRE 1914, A COURS LÉGAL DANS LA RÉPUBLIQUE POUR LA VALEUR DE DEUX GOURDES ET SON REMBOURSEMENT EST GARANTI PAR LES IMPÔTS CRÉÉS PAR LA LOI DU 11 AOÛT 1903, SUR LE RETRAIT DU PAPIER MONNAIE.
Beschrijving keerzijde	Printed entirely in red, the reverse presents a central intaglio vignette of a mining scene with workers operating equipment in an open landscape, enclosed within an ornate guilloche border. Large numeral 2 counters are positioned at left and right flanking the central panel, with the title RÉPUBLIQUE D'HAÏTI running across the top. A statutory anti-counterfeiting legend in small letterpress appears below the vignette.
