| Reverse description | The crowned and mantled arms of Monaco occupy the centre of the field, displaying the Grimaldi fusilly (lozengy argent and gules) shield supported on either side by a robed monk figure holding a lance, each flanking the escutcheon in the traditional heraldic supporter arrangement. A princely crown surmounts the achievement. The motto DEO JUVANTE appears on a scroll at the base of the arms. The denomination 2 FRANCS is inscribed in the lower portion of the field, with the numeral 2 repeated on each side of the arms. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner border. |
