The lower half is occupied by a detailed harbour vignette of Dieppe showing a steam packet vessel underway with the town's seafront buildings in the background, while the municipal coat of arms of Dieppe on a decorative shield appears at the bottom centre, with two cursive facsimile signatures placed left and right of the central cartouche beneath their respective title designations. |

The lower portion contains a rectangular decorative panel with the emission year on a ribbon above a two-paragraph legal text in cursive script relating to the conditions of redemption through the Banque de France. |
